Memorial Day

We have been so excited about this camping trip in the Casita 2.0....since our house flooded back in September we spent the entire year remodeling and working on the house.  Curtis completed the last piece of the puzzle this weekend by scribing and mortaring the steal of a mantle we found on Craigslist.  

We hitched up the Casita 2.0 and met the Bis-Camper at Lone Star High School to travel Lake Bob Sandlin State Park.

With Texas State Parks, you can book a site 6 months in advance, but when you arrive, it’s first pick.....so we drove around in hopes of finding a site on the lake.  Bingo!!!!! Last lake access site!!!

We spent our two fabulous nights fishing, playing soccer, and swimming at the swimming hole.  

We even got to try out the new inflatable kayak!


Yes, we are READY for summer!!!!

We even had a special helper with all the cooking.
