El Paso

Days 2-5:  With our disappointment of Balmorhea State Park, we were very excited to arrive to El Paso.  We arrived just in time to celebrate Grandma Mary's 72nd birthday!  We even got to see Aunt Libby and Uncle Hill!

Both boys were feeling a little under the weather when we arrived, so we spent most of the week avoiding the 105+ degree temperatures like this...

Cole has become quite a good shot at the BB gun.

Even Mommy got her shot at the target!

In El Paso, you can only go outside between the hours of 8:00pm to 8:00am to avoid the brutal heat, so every morning we were loaddd up the bikes st sunup to hit the El Paso Skate Park before the sun peaked and the temps rose.

Carson was finally able to tackle the highest point of the Warped Wall this year!

The boys were so excited to see their Altadena Culdesac friend Hayden and were inseparable for the rest of the stay in ELP.

They played soccer, frisbee, rode bikes, dinosaur dig discovery, and had so much fun! We even took Hayden to the brand new splash park.

We ended our fun stay in El Paso with a 3D viewing of Cars 3 on opening day.  It was everyone's 1st 3D movie and we all loved it!!!  #3 was WAY better than #2.

Alas, our stay in El Paso had to come to an end, but not before we swam at Uncle Steve and Aubt Christine's house.  Curtis and I were so excited to see them and Kenneth that I forgot to take pics!  Boo, Christi!!!!!  Thankfully, Mary and Stan are spending 3 days with us in Grand Canyon, so we get to see them in a few short days.  Tomorrow, we eat our final La Riviera Mexican lunch and head to Carlsbad Caverns to meet our besties, The Biscamp's!!!!  Yay!!!!  We cannot wait!!!!
