Biscamp/Schettler Memorial Weekend Fun

It's finally here!!!!  This camping trip with the Biscamps was a year in the making and its here!!!!!  We met at our house Friday at noon and headed for Tyler State Park.  We were super thankful for no snow days so we could have an extra long 4 day weekend!  YES!!!

We looked like a White Casita train heading down 380 to 69 on our way to Tyler.  2.5 hours later, we pulled up to the park.....relaxation!

Step 1:  unload the bikes and send the boys on their way to play.

Step 2-5:  hook up the Casita, start the fire, get the Dutch oven set up

Step 6:  RELAXATION!

Our weekend was filled with fishing, biking, swimming, smores, and lots of sitting!

We even had some ukulele time!

Oh, and you cannot forget the RACCOONS!!!!  Yuck!!!!  

Once the sun set, they came in swarms!  GROSS!!!

We were safe, thanks to the Super Schettlers fighting off the coons!

The weather was beautiful and the Schettler boys LOVED playing with Dylan!  He was the BEST big brother the boys could ask for!

They say you pick your friends because you can't pick your family.  I don't know how we lucked out to have the best family AND best friends in the world.  You know you won the BFF lottery when your buddy helps you carry the sewer hose back and forth.  Yes, it's as gross as it looks!!!!

We sure have a lot to be thankful for on this Memorial Day weekend.  Number 1 is the best friends a crazy family could ask for!  Love y'all, Biscamps!  Here's to many more crazy excursions!
